14 year old Samuel Benavente was shot in the head while trying to stop another teen steal his friend’s bicycle. This happened sometime last year and the boy was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. This is one of the most unfortunate stories I have ever heard.

Clean Safe School

This Chicago school has a state of the art program that scans anybodies license that walks through their doors. It tells them if that person is a registered sex offender. I think this is a great precaution, but nowadays it’s looking like we need metal detectors at all schools….
